About Jamie

James L. Sanders, II is one of three founding partners of the law firm of Estes, Sanders & Williams, LLC. Jamie is married and he and his wife have five children.

Jamie earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Tennessee in 1985 with a major in Economics. Out of college he worked in outside sales and sales management for Premier Industrial Corporation through 1990. Jamie attended law school at The Birmingham School of Law from 1990-1993 and obtained a Juris Doctor with highest Honors.

Since 1993, he has been licensed to practice law in all State and Federal Courts in Alabama including all Appellate Courts. A member of the Alabama State Bar, Birmingham Bar Association and the American Bar Association, Jamie has served on numerous Bar committees. Jamie is also a member of DRI and the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association and the Alabama Workers’ Compensation Organization.

His areas of practice include trucking litigation, general liability, premises liability, products liability, personal injury and workers’ compensation. Jamie has tried in excess of 50 jury trials in the areas of his practice including lead counsel in cases involving wrongful death. Finally, his appellate practice has been very successful with numerous defense verdicts affirmed.
