About Lauren

Lauren was born and raised in Greenville, North Carolina. She attended East Carolina University and graduated magna cum laude with a degree in business management. Lauren received her Master’s in Business Administration from East Carolina as well. While at East Carolina, Lauren was a member of the Honor Program, Chancellor’s List, Beta Gamma Sigma National Honor Society, Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Lauren was also a recipient of the Slay Maker-Kinsey Academic Achievement Scholarship and the Commerce Club Scholarship.

Lauren moved to Birmingham, Alabama to attend the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. She received her J.D. in May 2011. Lauren began working with Estes, Sanders, & Williams during her second year of law school as a law clerk. Lauren is now an associate attorney for ESW and her areas of practice include: trucking litigation, general liability, premises liability, construction defect, and workers’ compensation. Lauren is admitted to practice law in Alabama and is a member of the Alabama State Bar.
